Expedition to Poland
Students of 09.24-27. 2007 Students of college of social science visited The main object of the project is to strengthen the cooperation and identity of neighborhood regions (Lithuanian, Polish and Russian Federation of Kaliningrad) and reveal for public society how interaction of different cultures enriched the cultural heritage of In the expedition participated the head of the marketing department of the college Laura Jancyte and 9 students of the college, which have won the contest “The Best paper”. The track of the expedition was: Klaipeda- Panemune- Olsztyn- Gdansk- Suvalkai. The members of the expedition had possibility to know the historical past of visited places, which were related with Minor Lithuania and The great impression for students left It’s seems that Olsztyn University is like a separate city of the students in which “old-city” there are old buildings, and around just four years old faculties of the university. In the middle of that city is a lake, the big stadium, hostels, even supermarket, pizzeria and restaurant. And that’s all are for students, for lectures and for the administration. From one part of the city to the other we should go by walk distance of two kilometers. But our students envied very much only one thing- that here, in The biggest part of the expedition students from CSS spent in The third city of expedition was Suvalkai. Students of College of the Social Sciences were very happy of this journey, that they could get more knowledge about neighbor’s countries and had visited the famous places of the north Some photos from the journey (gallery) |
